I often see ships that include M/V as part of the vessel name. My partner here at work just asked if I know what M/V stands for and I had to admit that I've also been wondering that for many years. Does anybody know? Neptoon, or any other sailors out there? Any computer smarties know of any websites for looking up what various abreviations mean? (I thought I saw a site like that one time)
