I need a bit of help, I'm getting no sound out of my bass through the amp. This happened a few months ago and a friend and I fixed it with a little tin foil, but I'm afraid that I'll have to soder it together this time, I hate when it happens. Any advice or suggestions?

if it involves tin foil, you didn't fix it.

just solder it, it's not that hard, and it'll actually be fixed.
  3. tin foil....!!

Do you have a soldering iron and second.. have you ever soldered before??? If you haven't soldered before do a search in this forum i have written up a couple of "how to" threads on soldering. Its really not that hard.

Can you be more specific in the fault though? Or where the foil was/is, is that the only thing wrong?
