Does anyone have a program (preferably free) for automating certain software tasks? I think it would be pretty trick if I could set up an automation schedule for a disk defragmentation, or maybe using iTunes as an alarm clock.

I looked briefly around Sourceforge, but nothing really jumped out at me.

    Any thoughts?

    Operating System?
Windows has the Sheduled Task feature on the Control Panel.
You can run just about any program from here at any time.

    Get out.

I've been using Windows since 3.11 and I never knew about that. Some nerd I am.

(I am using Windoze, by the way.)

Haha, same here and I never use the task scheduler, but I know it's there.

One program I just found is iSleep, which sets up an alarm function for iTunes. That's kinda what I was looking for. I think I may need to look into something that I can program specific key commands/mouse clicks into in order to get into some more complex functions, though.
