I got these both brand new, and they are in fantastic condition, with new strings and setups. Both are the American Standard line, which put out a great run of instruments. Necks are easily interchangeable. I currently have them swapped between the basses. The P-bass with the maple Jazz neck is one of my favorites ever. Also, the P-bass has the AmStd 60th Anniversary neck plate. (different than the MIM 60th Anniv Blizzard Pearl) No dings on either, HSC for each plus most of the original case candy. Shipping not included in price. Continental US only. Selling these as a pair only. No trades please. Hi, I just want to make one deal, if I broke them up one or the other would likely languish in for sale limbo
They're correct in one pic and swapped in another. I would assume they would be returned to normal prior to a sale.
Easy as pie to for me to change the necks to either configuration, whatever anyone would like. Direct replacements, takes less than thirty minutes from start to finish, including re-stringing. I prefer the Jazz neck on the P, which is the current setup. YMMV Marketing strategy = uniqueness. I've been collecting Fender AmStd Blizzard Pearl instruments since 2007, and you'll not find another pair like these, esp. the P. Plus, if they don't sell, I'd rather they languish together than apart.
I can’t speak about that Precision, but I have one of those Blizzard Pearl Jazz basses. I think they were a Guitar Center-only color. GC dropped the price and blew them out for like $600 in 2008 when they discontinued the color, and I bought one. A friend of mine loved it and I sold it to him and bought another at a different GC. ANOTHER friend loved that and I sold it to him. The first friend just a few months ago decided to sell his and I bought it back. It’s a great bass, amazing quality for the money. Well worth the asking price (assuming half the asking price for the pair, of course....) GLWTS!
You are correct, sir. That is what I meant. Didn’t mean to offend, @Road Hat . On the contrary, I was trying to support your asking price....
