Hi This is a prototype magnetic pickup I am developing for sale.
I have made several test models of differing winds and shielding.
This particular one i used and tested throughout a 3 week tour
sucessfully with my group taarka www.taarka.com.
it uses alnico V magnets , mogami cable and a wooden ebonized casing. Campletely shielded for hum, and humbucking
attachecs to the fingerboard with 3m dual lock velcro and the jack attaches the same way as the realist and revoloution solo.
50$ the commercial version will sell for 200$ so get these " floor models while they last. The output on this one is lower
which translates to a clearer tone, however the output is great for
a typical bass amp and I used it perfectly with an EA iamp500
Thanks and please give me any feedback on the design as it is actively in development.
    shipping 7.50$
I prefer paypal transactions PM me for details
    Thanks
    JFLO

How does it sound? Afre you saying you can get lots of volume out of it, or it has problems with volume? I wouldn't mind trying one of these things out.

You can get a ton of volume out of it, meaning lots of gain before feedback. it sounds like a 600 ft tall p bass with a bit of wood .
you will need to crank up your preamp gain a bit more than for a piezo.
    thanks
