    SOLD - PENDING PAYMENT

Up for sale is a Japanese Fender Jazz '62 Reissue Fretless. This is a non-export model not available in the USA. I purchased this bass new around 3 years ago from GuitarJapan.com and had it shipped to the USA.

This bass is in amazing condition. There is not one mark, scratch or ding on this bass. The specs say the fretboard is rosewood. But it is a rosewood I've never seen. There is barely a mark on the fretboard from the round wound strings I use (the bass came from the factory with rounds).

The action is fairly low. And in the 3+ years I've owned this bass I have not had to tweak the neck. Not once!

This model sports USA Vintage Fender pickups and also features Gotoh reverse tuners (from the factory). Much better then the ones that come on the MIA reissues. The bass comes with a no-name case that is in good condition.

Also, almost forgot. It come with a tort pick guard. They come with these basses from the factory, they are just not installed. If you want to install it, you will have to drill the holes.

I hate to part with it. It really is a great bass! But I have a new NYC Sadowsky fretless on the way any day now. So I do not see the Fender getting much use once I get the Sadowsky. Plus I could use the cash!

These basses are hard to find in the US, even more so after Fender told music shops in Japan they cannot sell new ones overseas. I'll let this one go for $650 shipped (USA only). I prefer PayPal for payment. As you can see I have great feedback, so not to worry! Ok, the photos.....

And Live In Action (I even have a TalkBass Shirt on)!

Also note, I did replace the stock plastic knobs with high quality chromes ones as seen in the photos. Kinda gives it that Jaco look! Other then that the bass is completely stock.

Forgot to mention, the bass has strap locks on it.

This is a beautiful bass. It looks every bit as good, if not better than the new Jaco USA basses. It's a winner. I just bought a mim fretless I will have to upgrade and would have bought this in one millisecond if I didn't just get the mim. Even the photos of it are outstanding. I can't believe it lasted longer than one minute for sale.
