I'm selling my 4-string Sadowsky RV4-HPJ P/J bass in '59 burst with an alder body. It's a gorgeous bass that is essentially in brand new condition. It's a great instrument. On my digital bathroom scale, me with bass minus me without bass gives a weight of 8.4 pounds. Although I don't think Sadowsky has ever released a bad bass, some Metro models are heavier than others. This one is light and nicely balanced. Comes with Sadowsky zipper case and all of the goodies that originally came with the bass and which are still unopened. I purchased this bass new from Sadowsky. In between ordering it and receiving it (a period of about four months) I developed repetitive strain injury in both wrists (in fact, I'm writing this ad while wearing wrist braces). When the bass arrived, I removed the protective tape on the pickguard and battery case, played it for about 30 minutes, and although I loved the sound, I was in pain. I played it once or twice more before realizing that it's going to be a long time before I can play pain-free again. I removed the battery to avoid leakage and corrosion, and stored the bass in its case ever since. It has about 2 hours playing time on it. There's some dust on the case, but the bass is in perfect condition in every way. $SOLD cash pickup in Hollywood, CA, or $SOLD PayPal shipped overnight to a confirmed PayPal address. No trade offers, please. I'm no longer playing the bass.
