Not sure how well this is going to go over but ...I would love to see some pics of Solid Ash basses. Thats right the ones with no exotic tops. Post if you got!
Also, I have an Elrick Gold Standard 5 on its way to me now (Solid Ash) and I cannot wait! I am in the process of getting wood control knobs and a ebony ramp made (still deciding what woods for the knobs). I am open to suggestions ... So as well let me know what combination you think would look best.
    Thanks for looking

Here's my most recent aquisition. Believe it or not, it's even better in person.

Here's a bass I built (assembled) back and front respectively. Kind of makes me wish they (WD parts) had flipped the wood over before routing it out. I love it anyway though.

I have a t-40 nat ash with really good wood matching, but no pics yet.

I almost alwasy favor plain ash or alder(with good grain). My favorite look for a bodywood is natural ash with long wavy, even grain and transparent finsishes. (see-thru red, butterscotch, or sunburst) Figured, flamed, quilted, spalted etc tops are cool, but not my style.

very nice gentlemen ... Bring on the trans colors and bursts indeed. We will let that painted READ slide :)

Never realized how many basses I have seen that have had a single/simple ash body ... The more I see the better I like.
