    Nice! I admire your technique and versatility. I'm curious though, how did you fall into this type of music? I suspect you've picked a style that's even less popular than jazz or opera, if that's possible. Klezmer? Niche of the niche.

    I found this music after punk, but what I still like is using the whole instrument. Surprisingly, people like it more than you'd guess. I get good audiences and I have been able to travel, record etc. as if it were any other music!

    I'd start with Peter Kowald, Barre Phillips, Barry Guy, Joëlle Léandre, William Parker, Mark Dresser and Bertram Turetzky.
