I havn't worked on soloing for a good while. Can anyone reccomend some songs/tabs? It doesn't matter the skill level, just reccomend whatever you have, easy solo's, harder solo's, anything. thanks a lot :D!
  2. stuart hamms album kings of sleep....

even check out any satch/vai album that stu's on...that'll give ya a bit of a workout
  3. Garry Willis' book is good, or why not check out the book that goes with the Jaco instructional video? It's got some great bassines and solos - tasteful stuff.
  4. the gary willis book as in 101 bass tips? thats a great book...i had the cd out tonight and was practisin some improv over the grooves that he had layed down...absolutely awesome stuff that :smug:
  5. Is that the vid with scokes and dennard, when they dry him out for a week, but has a meltdown at the end of the vid with the distortion?
  6. transposing the tribal tech stuff is fun. melodic and great phrasing. none of the 'widdly widdly' party trick, music store playing....... all melody.
