Ive been eyeing this Genesis 4 string on ebay for the past couple of days and the description says that the body is Soma. How is the sound of the wood? Is it bright like maple?

The other part that was unique was the finger board material which was Chechin. Now, I would perfer maple to get a nice bright tone and an awesome slap sound, but how does Chechin sound and compare?

    Thanks for the help.
