This is a track from my unreleased solo cd called Trioplicity, featuring Bernard Purdie on drums and Kudzai Kasambira on guitar.

Now this is the ticket! Jauqo, your bass makes me think of a big train rumbling down a track in Chicago. That subcontrabass is like organ bass pedals with more articulation.
I am looking forward to seeing you play this music live.

I can dig it. Nice groove, gets you dancing in the desk chair.

Nicely played, Jauqo. Do you notice much of a difference in the physical sensation(s) you experience on stage while playing a low-range instrument versus a "normal" instrument? After listening to your recording on headphones, my guess was that so much deep bass, at gig levels, would massage one's innards rather vigorously. :)

I wont stand directly in front of the cab(s) because I can feel it in my chest and sometimes it tickles the inside of my right ear.

Thanks a lot for posting this. I really enjoyed it and have to agree with Dr. Cheese in that is sounds similar to an organ, only I can hear it much better. Enjoyed it a lot.

How do you call this style? I have never heard anything similar to this.
