Some obvious songs

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by basswilli, Dec 26, 2001.

  1. I am trying to learn some songs that have a very recognizable bass part. The kind of song where you can play one line of it, and everyone knows what it is. I'll use Rearranged, by bizkit as an example. Although it might not be everyone's favorite song, it still has an extremely recognizable bassline. Are there any more of these songs??????

  2. Love shack, baby love shack

Umm, lets start by a quick rundown of what sorta music you listen to or are trying to play, cause there are far too many to list

  3. word to the love shack
i listen to pretty much everything, and thus i play play lots of different stuff. It really doesn't matter really. I have been learning a bunch of TV themes as a result of boredom...oh well, it happens.

  4. Most of RHCP`s basslines are very easily recognizable(for me).Now.....too bad most of them are too hard for me. :(

    "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three

    "Red Red Wine" by UB40

"Duck and Run" by Three Doors Down

    etc. etc. etc....

I cant believe nobody said Bon Jovi, Living on a prayer, very distinctive bass line in that one. And Im pretty sure that most people have heard it a few times in their life to recognise it if you play it.
