Unforunately, it probably is for real. I've been posting all kinds of inflammatory threads in TPA about this kind of stuff. Sad as it seems, this doesn't surprise me at all. But let's keep this thread civil, or else it'll end up getting moved out. :)

Next thing you know they're going to be banning the Who, and Judas Priest, and all that stuff. Censorship sucks. In my humble opinion. :D
  3. It's not real. The article says "Satire" right at the top. It's a riff on the Spongebob thing from a few weeks ago. Andy Borowitz is a humorist.
  4. "Do I think they are gay? I abba-dabba-do!"

Heh, thats what i thought when i saw it. New sig for me :)
  6. Who's gay in the Who? Maybe you're reffering to Townshend's child porn affair?

Phew. I'm relieved. For a moment I thought the world was really going insane (I know it does, but we're not that paranoid yet, right?).

Well, okay, It wouldn't reallly be fair of me to speak on anyone else's behalf. I just know that plenty of the best rock stars on the planet are gay. And, it doesn't make the least bit of difference to me. Their music is still amazing. I don't think about who's gay and who's not, when I listen to it. :)
  8. yeah, andy borowitz is a satire writer, similar to dave barry imo (although dave barry is funnier imo)
you can go to his website and sign up for the borowitz report, which is really pretty funny!

Time to give the sense of humor a little tune up people. It's a spoof on the gay cartoon character thing. Remember the the Tele Tubby thing?

I figured it was fake even before that. If fred and barney were anything, gay wasn't it. Morons, yes. Gay, no.
  12. Yeah!

Fred said "please, please pass the Poi..."

not "please, please pass the Boy" (with a lisp...kidding)
  13. No kidding. Not with Wilma and Betty around.
    Betty Rubble. Damn.

Nobody ever says Wilma. But damn, Betty was hot.

You know who's even hotter, is that chic singer in the Flintstones movie. Not only hot, but a pretty good voice too. I'd like to recruit her for my band. Among other things. :D
  17. I always thought Bert And Ernie from Sesame street were gay. But they were probably just platonic gay friends. With the single beds and the duckie and everything.
  18. Kate Pierson from the B-52's?

    No, Pete is gay.

He has stated that the first time he saw Mick Jagger doing his little dance was the first time he ever wanted to...umm... be with a man. His exact words are much more coarse, and much funnier.
  19. I had no idea they were aliens.
Also, they were little boys. Little felt, hand up their ass (wait a minute!) puppet boys. Don't read into that one too much or you'll shatter my rose colored memories of Sesame Street.

Kate Pierson, that's the one. She's had quite an interesting life. Are you familiar with her career? She's quite an impressive singer. She goes places very few people can. She's very talented. Not to mention totally hot. Especially in that little primordial miniskirt. :)
