I was watching some music videos on youtube, and I noticed how some are working and some are not. The ones not working at always stuck on the loading screen. So then I decided to try watching those on another computer, and they played fine on the other one... Anyone got any idea how I can fix my current one so it plays all the youtube videos?
When you watched from the other computer, was it connected through the same router? If not, check your router prefs to make sure it's not blocking youtube on accident. A full modem/router re-boot is a good idea if you haven't already done so. Also, have you double-checked the browser prefs to make sure java and flash are enabled?
The computer that doesn't play all the videos are connected to a router with DSL, and the computer that does play the videos are wirelessly connected to the same router. Java and flash are enabled, because I've viewed many java/flash based pages today and all worked just fine.
Hmm. Weird. All other websites work fine, it's just youtube? Have you tried plugging straight into the modem?
I actually am having the same problem. All other sites seem to be working just fine so I'm not sure what the deal is.
Have you tried emptying your browser cache on the ill-behaving computer then restarting the app and/or computer?
Youtube has been doing that for me recently as well. On multiple computers in my household. It also has been doing this on the multiple computers in my friends house as well. It is something on their end for sure.
See? Either it's not my computer's fault, or this guy watches too much porn too... oops, I didn't mean that. Just a joke, just a joke.
Which ones can't you watch? I'll try to watch that video and see if it works on mine, if it doesn't, then probably nobody can watch it...
I just reinstalled the lastest Java and Flash, and some videos that used to work are not working anymore, and the some of the ones that didn't work work now.
