God, it's been two days since I sent mine off to Pat Wilkins for a repaint and I feel like I'm bleeding from an artery.

I had no idea I could get that attached to a stupid peice of wood....

The sonic blue just wasn't working for me although it was perfect.

It's soon to be Oly white with matching peg head

I completely blame funkycarnivore for his constant postings of his Sad painted that way.

Thanks Jerome. Like I need help spending money. :D

Sounds cool to me. Will the repainted headstock have the Sadowsky decal?

No, he's going to paint right over it so it will look like a noname jazz copy. Those things are in these days :p

... I don't know either, but I'm guessing he'll put a new decal on there.

I think this guy (Wilkins) is the guy that does all of Sadowsky's finishing, and if that's the case, I'd say he may have a spare label lying around! ;)
  6. Just awesome

Every bass should be refinished to Olympic White /w Matching headstock. Plus a Tort Guard.

YES ALL OF THEM!!! even this one! --> :bassist:

Pat has Decals. That was the first question I asked.

Turn around time 5- 6 weeks

Darn reasonable pricing all things considered. Especialy the peghead. $10.? Oh, hell yeah.

    Pat Wilkins is superb.

He does all of Sadowsky's finishes as well as other luthiers.

He refinished a mega quilt top PRS for me from original purple to tigers-eye and did a great job.
