we can by leann rimes, rock & roll by zep, this ones for the girls by martina mcbride, never as good as the first time by sade, pride in the name of love by u2, the one i love by rem, what is hip by tower of power, get in touch with yourself by swing out sister, believe it by tower of power. with the instrumentation you guys have, you could do all these. the beatles, stones, seger has been beaten to death because the bar patrons like them. this list grooves, they're a little different all together like this and they're fun. and they're cool. t.o.p may be a challenge but worth the effort. peace, jeff

Well, it would be cool to hear a "Cummon Eileen" song.. It was done by Dexy's midnight Runner's in the 80's.

    Some random suggestions:

Townes Van Zandt - "Lungs" or "Tecumseh Valley"
    Loretta Lynn - "Rated X"
    Charlie Robison - "Good time"
Leonard Cohen - "First we take Manhattan"
Guy Clark (I think) - "Baby took a limo to Memphis"
Neko Case - "Favorite" or if your singer is really good "Furnace room lullaby"
