  3. Great suggestions in the post above.
My band has the exact same set up as yours.
Here's some more that our girl singer does.

Rock N Roll - Led Zep
Honey I'm Home - Shania Twain
Rock and Roll Band - Boston
I Hate Myself For Lovin' You - Joan Jett
    Desperado - Eagles
Chain of Fools - Aretha Franklin
    Blue Bayou - Linda Ronstadt
When Will I Be Loved - Linda Ronstadt
Mi Vida Loca - Pam Tillis
You're Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad - Tanya Tucker
    Pour Me - Trick Pony
Say You Love Me - Fleetwood Mac

Don't be afraid to have her sing some stuff that is traditionally male vocal.
A lot of this stuff works no matter what gender the singer is.
You might want to try some Elton John tunes like Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting.

    Good luck!

Honestly, she can do just about anything within her range. If she's got the range for Kelly Clarkson, then she also has the range for Led Zep.

When I was with an all-female band, we didn't want to limit ourselves to "female" material. Unless a song was just *too* masculine, lyrically, if we wanted to cover it, we did.

  6. Concrete Blonde...underrated band with a female singer. Something like "Joey" would go over pretty well.

Funny my wife told me the same thing...never heard of them so i will check them out. We are not stuck on her doing female vocal only songs we do male sung songs as well. thanks for the ideas. Question is it weird in a song to say like the Black Crowes--Hard to handle.. has words like ..babe i'm a man etc ...you know what i mean...should she change the words to gal etc or just sing the song like written?
