Do you mean song lyrics or song music?

I write lyrics, while my guitarist and drummer write the music.

 

I write my bands lyrics, with help from my guitarist. But I dont have my journal with me here at uni today, so I wont try to guess all the lyrics (I dont sing, so i dont have to memorise them!) but I'll post my lyrics this afternon.
They are about anything (except love, I'll never write a love song), some are protest songs(such as 'When Did Your Last Slave Die' and 'Unchained'), some are rock (such as 'Im Am Fire (Let Me Burn Through You), some are pop ('A Distant Star'), one is grunge ('Criminal'), one is a ballad ('A Long Way From Home') and some others are long psychadelic journeys, written under the influence, and full of weird and experimental stuff (such as 'The Flying Dutchman', 'Deep Water' and 'Dont Walk Backwards Into The Water').
So far the band has somewhere around 30 originals.

The guitarist, singer and i do the writing. At the moment, two songs i have written have been chosen because they fit the music better. We have piles of lyircs, we lost a whole stack so now whenever a song is written, its given to the singer and he types them up to keep a copy.

We have a few of our songs written up on our webpage. Mine is at the bottom "Black Beyond Black", check it out, sign the guestbook etc. i'd write the lyrics up here, but due to beliefs of band members i'd probably be banned from TB.
