Songs about being 16...

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Komakino, Apr 14, 2002.

  1. I have a friend who's turning 16 soon and I want to make a CD with all songs about being 16 on it...trouble is at the moment I don't know enough to fill a CD so I'd like your help with titles, if you'd be so kind! :)

    At the moment I have:

    Sweet 16 - Billy Idol
Sweet Little 16 - Chuck Berry
    Sweet 16 - Feeder

    and I think that's it!

There was that song by Sponge that goes, "16 candles down the drain". Crap, I forget what the name of it is.

    And Feeder rocks.

  10. I'm sure alot of Nu-Metal songs are about being sixteen and hating your dad. God knows they're not about a whole lot of other things.

  11. There's a song by B.J. Thomas called, "Rock & Roll Lullaby." The first words of the song are, " She was just sixteen and all alone when I came to be..."

O.K. I know it's mushy pop from another generation, but, I believe it fits the parameters. ;)
