    Well my band has a management deal right now and I myself am looking to get out of it. I've just grown to dislike the music business and really dont want any part of it, that means quitting the band and therefore getting out of the contractual obligations as well.

    I'll probably have a lawyer look at my options first, just figured I'd see if anyone here has any words of wisdom.

    The 'band' is most likely obligated to get a replacement. Some deals include individual band members as well. Check what you signed.
