I do have an old I retreived in the attic of my brain, and please I would appreciate any suggestion about things to listen to. Thanks in advance ! My remembering list : Jackson Five (before they go disco) Earth Wind & Fire (before they go disco) Average White Band Kokomo (?) J Geils Band Sly and the Family Stone Graham Central Station James Brown, of course Marvin Gaye Isaac Hayes Vinegar Joe Please all other suggestions will be gratefully welcome, since I want to select some tracks and take'em out of the grave for my trio. Many, many thanks to anyone would will share and help. Jay

Don't forget Lee Fields. Others to think about... Al Green, Tower of Power, Maze, Chi-lites. There were about a billion soul bands in the 70's. If you don't mind venturing into a little disco, the Fatback Band was pretty good too.
Cant' believe this hasnt been mentioned George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic Also some Stevie wonder!!! Nobody has mentioned him too.
