Sound clip of my schecter

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by 74rickbass, Aug 9, 2004.

  1. I dont know if people remember, but I modded my 1982 schecter p-bass, with a EB-O Pickup. I finally recorded a clip and uploaded it.

The clip is just the Eb-O pickup with roto-sound flats, I assume that you all heard the other sounds before, so I didnt record anything else.

The pup confiq... is EB-O, P, and J... so if anybody wants a specific combo recorded I'll try.

I'm talking 4003 with both pickups on.. It sounds similar

  6. yea, I guess it kinda sounds similar. I'll have to make a sound clip of the ol' 74 to compare.

Does anybody else have soem thoughts on the sound?
It wouldnt work good live, (cept blended with another pup) but its great for recording, fits in the mex perfectly.

    That sounds absolutly beautiful.

    *wants a new bass badly...*

  11. Thanks guys. I must say, my favorite tone from the bass, is P-bass (in series) and EB-O pickups at equal volume with roundwounds. bright and clear... but with a VERY smooth fat bottom end.
