    Could someone please help me identify this apparent jazz standard as played in the beginning of this YouTube demo? I am certain that I have heard it used elsewhere in other bass demos.



    The second riff in the video is of course, Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust"

    You may be right, but I am curious to know what it is.

    If I didn't know the other song was Queen, I might have guessed it was Disco. :D

    Chuck Sher publishes my book, WALKING BASSICS:The Fundamentals of Jazz Bass Playing.
    There are literally hundreds of heads that will work over those changes. Which are blues changes.
    I know you want there to be a different answer, but there's not....
