    Hey guys,

I think this could potentially be a good idea.

I would like help compiling a thread, dedicated to specific soundclips of basses.

so, if you've got a youtube video, or a link to clips, post it here and I'll edit everything into one post (eventually)

Here is a little clip I recorded yesterday. I`m selling the bass so wanted a short sound clip for people to hear it.

    Anyways here it is:

Music Man StingRay (H) 5 string fretless tunes EADGC
EQ is all set to flat and the 3-way lever pickup selector in in the middle position which is only the #1 coil. No preamp or other eq, just plugged directly in the laptop.

I know the clip is not perfectly in pitch...which is why i`m selling the fretless... Just not my thing really.
  3. I have various clips on my Youtube channel (link in my sig below) of the following:

    Bergantino AE410
    TC RS210
    Schroeder 115+
    Low Down Sound 12/6/1

    Markbass LMII
    Markbass F1
    TecAmp Puma500
    TC RH450

    Alleva-Coppolo LM5
    Alleva-Coppolo LG5
Sadowsky NYC Vintage Ash/Maple with single coils
    Rob Allen Fretted Mouse

There are additional audio clips of a variety of Low Down Sound cabs and other stuff on my iComposition home page

  5. Thanks alot  Now I'm thinking that I need an F1 instead of my LMII. I also think my Aggy 210 sounds rather week and lacking punch. This thread could get expensive :D

Hey Mark, if you find any of my YouTube videos useful for your project, you can use them without restraints. Let me know if you need further info about them. :)

    Anyway, here's a clip I have.

    it's a Nash '62 Jazz Bass.
the video is live off a digital camera, so it's not the BEST quality, but you get a good idea of the finger style, and slap.

I have a ton of videos using a variety of Elricks, but this one is the only one that's specifically meant to display the tone options- the rest are actual songs so they may not be ideal:
  11. Ya! I wish I was just such a not slap player myself :eyebrow: :)

Here are a few clips I've posted here & there around various TB's threads. Nice to round them up & drop them in one place for a change. :) All are SX jazz basses - Alder & Ash bodied, stock pickups.

Great thread BTW! I've seen a small handful of others like this, but sadly with little participation. Hope this one becomes a go-to thread of sorts for checking what tones one can obtain with some of the gear we talk about so often on TB. Thanks again for the cool thread!

  14. You can check out clips of me playing my basses in my sig. All the gear used is listed in the description :). Here's one where I demo'd my old Q-tron+. I plan on doing a little demo fro the MXR Bass Octave Deluxe soon too.

  16. Nice work! :hyper:
