Source Audio Aftershock users - a little help!

Hey gang, I just picked up a second hand aftershock w/ no special cable to do some tweaking.
I was in such a hurry --
After realizing a little too late and purchasing totally the wrong cable, (I thought it would be (android) a usb type c to mini usb - NOPE! ...I realize now it's the 1/8 inch from phone to 1/4 inch in input 2..

Is there anything else special I need to know about the cable type before getting over to GC to get one?

and it was all screwed with by past users & seems to only have one sound in all three choices..I tried to do a factory reset, as told in the manual, but it doesn't seem to be going back to stock - ah jeez, help!

 

I'm a Linux using guy...sigh....no software for me...
