I just bought this pedal and I have some questions for anyone familar with how it works.
I have been loading a lot of different presets from the cloud library and I and the pedal sometimes skips notes if i am not really digging in with my picking hand. I tried turning the sensitivity up but it hasn't solved the issue for all the presets. Is there a setting in the neuro interface to increase the sensitivity.
Also, if someone can direct me to a good beginers guide to building tones on a synth, that would be helpful

Congratulations on the new pedal! It's a fun one with all sorts of sonic possibilities.
There's loads of info over at Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3 and the Source Audio team are often on hand to answer queries.

As a starting point, looking at the sensitivity settings is a good first call, as well as the "Input Gain". Between those two settings you should be able to get the notes triggering more accurately.
The C4 also has options between "Faster" or "Higher Accuracy" tracking, which can be worth exploring too.

...as always, with these sorts of pedals it is also worth paying some attention to clean playing technique (minimising overlapping notes and strings ringing out over fretted notes mostly), I often find playing with a pick and palm muting just the initial attack works particularly well for me (lifting off the muting after the initial attack to let it sustain un-dampened).

Thanks for the reply. I started reading the source audio C4 thread. It has some 70+ pages but they aren't very long so sjould finish it thos evening.
I haven't raised the input, only the sensitivity. I noticed the sensitivity seems to reset for each tone I load which is a bit annoying. I'll try playing with the input level as you suggested. Where is the tracking? I thought trackihg was more anout the frequency of the note being played than the plucking.

I just picked one up too. I found that the pedal liked a hotter signal, I was demoing it with my sixer, which has fairly mild j bass pickups.

I’m looking forward to running some of my much hotter four string Basses through it.

I'm using a four string with Seymour Duncan pickups in a P/J config. I'm thinking maybe I'll turn on my Sans Amp and which is upstream from the C4. That might help.
