I am the original owner. This this is great and can do so many things other than distortion. It can function as a volume boost, volume pedal (w/EXP pedal) an EQ change, tons of options

If you are unfamiliar with this pedal I encourage you to visit the SA website, or the SA threads here. There are MANY different distortion algorithms on this thing, and some of them are quite unusual. I don't want you to plug it in and say "This thing sounds weird" It took me a long time to get the hang of this thing. It is great before a filter for very controlled synth sounds. You can dial up something that hits the filter just right, but that has a crazy EQ and then blend that with your clean signal just right. The multi-band, octave and foldback options can sometimes sound unusual on their own, but in the mix its really unique the sounds it gets.
