So, here it is. Serial # 1. I'll be testing it out over the next few days, but thought I'd share. Full review to follow....
Looks interesting. I look forward to hearing how this holds up against the hordes of micro fuzz's out there. The switch atop switches between OD and Fuzz?
Absolutely! Hence my interest! If it sounds as good as it looks interesting, I might just get one of these. I'm also in contact at the moment with a pedal custom builder, communication with whom is easy and feels promising thus far.
That's correct, the switch is for od/fuzz. In overdrive there is a drive and volume control. In the fuzz section, there is volume only as the fuzz is a fixed amount. I'm gonna try it tonight for a few minutes and get back to you guys
Yes. Its awesome. Hamish wants to change the design to be more guitar friendly. Nshuman has one as well. From gated to subtle od to superfuzz. They are also on sale. It's a great deal and only a couple left Serial number one, needed to be more bass friendly and now it's is.
It is great. It does nice really gated OD, to more subtle and slightly more open OD. Then, the fuzz is gated like a superfuzz. Gets a lot of gain in either mode. Very nice little fuzz, simple, super small.
Is the octave pronounced? It sounds like a pretty wild little pedal. Also, are the ones currently available more bass friendly than #1 was?
If I have time tomorrow, I'll do another sound clip that just goes through the fuzz range using a slow loop.
Ok, thanks guys. I just listened to the guitar samples of it, and I think I can hear what you mean. It does sound like a cool little fuzz. I sent Hamish a message to speak with him further about this and a few other things. It still would be great to hear that clip if you get the chance! It's not like I have enough dirt pedals with 5 already or anything...
