    Um...weird, your getting spammed with this? All it is is registration/server info for ORVLADHOSTING.BIZ (a website)...weird your getting spammed with it.

    No, see, I'm getting spam from [email protected].

    The xxxxx changes every email, and stupid Yahoo mail doesn't let you block an entire domain.

    is it being sent to your bulk mail folder? i very rarely get this kinda stuff in my inbox.

    Well, if its to your yahoo account, sometimes there are like robot type things that spam all email accounts from a certain @ address...like I get spam from places and when I look at the To: address, it was sent to all people with @Charter.Net so that might be the case...

    I don't have SpamGuard turned on, because it incorrectly identified some real mail as spam, and the process of fixing that is a pain (you have to forward the mail to them, then a human reviews it??). And that's much worse - not getting my real mail.

    Now I use MailWasher and I preview all my mail and bounce back the spam. I'd rather not get it at all, but this works pretty well.

    MailWasher can automatically bounce and delete blacklisted emails, but again only including the username, so the ones from orvladhosting.biz still get through as they change the username every time. Oh well.

    I have a new email....cause my old one got spammed so badly...and I didn't really like it.

    well...now....for some odd reason I'll get like one titled "Watch Katie ride a horse the right way" or "Are sisters suppose to do this?"

    i have no idea how they got my mail..:meh:

    Kinda amusing,I just block 'em and delete.

    Half of my 100 emails i get a day are emails like those...I've given up on blocking and deleting them...it seems like they keep coming anyways! No clue where they come from either..I RARELY use my E-mail to sign up for stuff.

    yeah i have two yahoo accounts...

    one for spam and signing up for stuff, and one i use as an actaul email. luckily my real mail only gets 1 or 2 spams a day :)

    I did that too, but eventually I started getting spammed and now I get around 50-60 spams a day. I've never once signed up for anything or posted my email address on any site, I really don't know how anyone got it, but now it's just as bad as the one I sign up for stuff with.

    Yeah...you get spammed bcause websites do searches for email accounts with @yahoo or @hotmail and then get them one a mailing list and mass spam...there really is NO way to stop from getting it besides putting on a spam filter which usually results in the filter becoming stupid and blocking IMPORTANT E-mails. Just gotta live with it...

    yeah back in the land before time (when i had AOL :eek: ) i had a program that could do that... i used it once and aol cancelled my account and told us we couldnt get another :D best cpu thing ive ever done :smug:

    If I don't clear out my e-mail 3-4 times a week. It's clogged with junk. If I set the filters higher, I lose about 2/3 of my actual mail.

    Frustrating.
