Hey folks. Any suggestions for a speaker cab. I need something inexpensive to use at home for practice and to bring to friends homes to jam. I leave my main rig at church. I will be using an eden wt400 at home. Don't want to spend too much just to sound decent. Play mainly rock stuff. Need to make sure it can handle moderate volume.

    Thanks

    Please define inexpensive.

How about an Avatar SB112 or something?

Inexpensive. Something around 250-300 dollars. Used is no problem. I have been reading good things about avatar. Any brand they compare to?

Buy basses and lots of guns before it's too late! You have been warned.

Agreed. Marc makes some excellent cabs. I would also throw out www.lowdownsound.com. No real preference between these two. They are both exceptional values and quality cabs. I have not tried Avatar cabs.

And yes, be sure to cruise the classifieds. You might find some good deals on used bass cabs for sale right now (hint, hint!). ;)
