Speaker cabinets out of phase?

I think I've got a phase issue that's baffling me. I'm running a GK 700RB/210 combo with an Avatar 2x10 cabinet. Both sets of speakers sound great when run separate with the same amp, but when I hook the Avatar up, the sound becomes midrangy and loses volume. I'm pretty sure the speakers inside both sets of cabinets are wired correctly. Any ideas?

Do the battery test and see if both sets move the same way with plus to tip.

If not, you might need to re-wire one, or just make a cable that flips phase.

Simpler still would be finding the wrongly wired cable you have now and pitching it, assuming that is the problem.

So do the test with the same cable. Then try the other one, and see if they are different..........
