Hey i did a search on speaker cables and instrument cables but it never answered my questions.. i had an 18gauge speaker cable but i think somone took it by accident. anyway i was using a nice guitar cable a couple of times but i heard not too so now im scared but i want to play. what can happen if i use a instrument cable versus a speaker cable?
    thanx

It won't hurt to use it temporarily but you should go on and get a speaker cable ASAP.

I would strongly advise against using an instrument cable between your amp and speakers, it can/will damage your amp.

When you get a new speaker cable, go with a lower gauge (thicker cable.) 18 is the absolute minimum you want to use.
