I bought a speaker cable from my local music store and they told me the cable was for speakers but there's ***Instrument Cable written on the cable. How do I make sure it's for speaker??? thanks

Sounds like they made a mistake. I would go to a different store, or check with the manufacturer.

you could try opening it up. Take one end and unscrew the top if you see 2 equally thick wires, its a speaker cable. If you see copper wire kind of braided around a plastic tube (that's in the centre of the wire...which has thin copper wires in the middle of IT) its an instrument cable.
