I have a 2x10 combo, I'm wonder whether i should get a 1x15 or 4x10 cabinet for this combo, the price is no object. I am all about the tone.

Well, of your "all about the tone" then I strongly suggest trying out different speaker configurations with your cab as tone has more to do with the cab design as a whole than just what size drivers it employs.
For example, a BagEnd 1x15 will sound RADICALLY different with an SWR 2x10 than an Avatar 1x15 with the SWR 2x10.
