Speaker Grill Covers

    I was thinking about putting a customized grill cloth on my Ampeg. What kinds of cloth are acceptable for this? I saw someone once that a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup logo on their 4x12(it was a guitar player). I wouldn't know what to put on there, but I'm sure I could find something....

    if you put real thin fabric across the grill it will work. one of the coolest things i have ever seen like that is what my guitarist did. He went on ebay and got a real old ford mustang logo and put that on the front of his amp.

    Just go down to your local fabric store or walmart and look for thinner material. Some stores have some pretty neat fabric. I like the leopard on a grill. :)

    You wanna get something with a loose weave that will let air flow freely through it... using any old fabric will cause some degree of muffling.
