Im going to build a cab based on the BMS 15N620 4 ohm driver. I want to add a 6-6,5" and wonder if it has to be an 4 ohm mid driver as well or if the impedance does not matter on the other side of a crossover?

If you use an 8 ohm mid driver it will need to be 3dB more sensitive than the woofer to maintain flat-ish response. Obviously the crossover needs to be designed to suit whatever nominal load is on either side (and ideally to suit the real load, either the simple impedance magnitude of each driver at the crossover point or the complex impedance magnitude and phase).
