Speaker repair (adhesive) question.

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by XtraLongScale, Oct 6, 2005.

  1. Well, I have these two damaged aluminum speakers from a Behringer 4X10 cab which have since been replaced. The cab is now gone (thankfully - I'll probably share my Behringer experience on another thread in the future). The situation with the speakers is that the cone itself has separated from the surrounding kevlar(ish) ring. I'm wondering if there's an adhesive available to re-attach the cone. I'm taking a trip to Home Depot in the next day or two & hopefully I'll find something there. I'd like to resurrect these speakers & throw 'em in a 2X10 cab as part of a beater rig. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. First post by the way...

  2. Thanks for the product info. I'll see if any local pro audio stores carry it. If not, I'll order online. Thanks for the link.
