I've managed to blow an 18" speaker. Word of advice: they don't all go to 11. It's not an emergency; we had a couple of 15" monitors sitting around, and one of those works okay for a temporary replacement, but I wanted to know if anyone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area has someone they use in these bad times. My guitarist had a guy that repaired cones, but hadn't been to him in a couple of years...he's now long gone. I'm going to check out Crossroads Audio, but any other referrals would be greatly appreciated.

If you will do a search on the net for speaker re-coners you will find there is an association that credentials re-coners. There is also many links to qualified service people in most states.

    Hope that helps.
