 Brad! It's obviously one of those "under construction" pages.

This sequence shows it just before the top's routed for a P+J+MM+P+JJ arrangement.

I had my eye on that one too. I'm not going to bite, though.

Rob Allen should make more basses with the Alder and Mahogany backs. I like them much better than the swamp ash ones.

  9. UNF. if that thing didn't have a lined fingerboard, it would be cosmetic perfection. i want an RA sooooo much...

  12. y'know, this would be torture if there was any way that i could possibly afford one in the next 5 years. but there's not, so i'll just enjoy the eye candy.

J/K! No harm intended, Mr. Moderator type person :D

ahh, skrewel days...my best friends were 5/$1 mac & cheese and
the week-old bread store. Not to mention the cut-out / used bin at
    the record store.

    umm..`k [IMG]

Sure, it's bookmatched and a nice job at that. What WAS I thinkin'?...
"yes Rob, a doubleneck. The top? One piece of Bluegum". Poor Mr. A.
Bluegums ARE dang big trees but geez!

On the other hand, it makes for a interesting Rorschach test [IMG]

Yeah, I know the pics are "weird" (the back view's courtesy the
"horizontal flip" thingie). On the front view, that's a Bluegum veneer.

The T/I Acousticore's on the macassar board are real Bow-wow-WOW-ry :).
A new set's since been installed (properly  ). I always refer to Mr. Manring's
tone in La Sagrada Familia - but less edgy. Now if I only had his chops :p.
