    It looks real enough, but without a stamped serial number there is no way to know for sure. At the current price, it is a good deal whether it is the real deal or not, if you have the skills to install truss rods and finish the project.

    When tobias shut the factory down there were alot of half built, half finished instruments that went out the back door.
    I've seem quite a few over the past two years pop up on ebay.

    That looks to be the real deal. I wouldn't buy it expecting to make money on it, but if your buying it to actually make a bass to play out of it, it might be worth ot to someone. I've thought my-self about buying it just to hang on the wall :)

    That one's been for sale on Ebay (and elsewhere I think) for over a year now. Not sure if it's still the same seller. For a long time the ads never showed that headstock! yuck :)
