    thats an interesting bass for sure. is that an alembic electronic system i see?

    Nick did a number of XLR direct outs on his basses. No Alembic electronics here. Some had custom preamps and others had Bart or Demeter pre's. I've seen a few different pre's that he used with different setups. Nick was an amazing builder, to bad he no longer builds!

    John Myung from Dream Theater used to play those before he got sponsored by Yamaha. I did a yahoo search on Tung basses one time, and I heard that he was going to start making them again sometime in the future. I would like to get ahold of one of them, even if I only got to play it once.
