Speakon connector?

    I want to ad a speakon chassis connector to my new hartke 4.5 410 cab,why they don't fit them as standard i don't know,anyway,i presume that the 1+ goes to the positive wire in the cab,and the 1- to the negative,am i correct?thanks guys.

    Sounds right to me.

    Another thing I don't understand is why manufacturers don't use PowerCon instead of IEC for AC connections on amps.

    Most of the amps here in the UK have fixed power leads,pain in the **s!

    Fixed power leads are still better than loose fitting IECs.
