Serious drag. I just bought this here on TB recently, thinking I wanted to go back to 5 strings. Fantastic bass. The electronics are totally awesome. With my lack of playing these days, I'm going to stick to my 4 banger that I can play blindfolded (a certain comfort factor), especially without the time to really dig into a new bass. If I'm only keeping one bass, it's got to be the 4. The Spector includes a hard case with keys. This is 8.9 lbs (bathroom scale method), 35" scale, supper low action and very comfortable neck/fretboard, Dunlop strap locks. I'm selling for the same price I bought it from John (JohnnyLiBass). No trades please. Sale only: $850 includes shipping or $800 + shipping - your choice. Price is firm. Thank you. Guh! You guys are killing me with these rebops. GLWTS (but I secretly hope it's still available when I have better cash flow...)!
I'm keeping my eye on this til it either sells again or I get my tax return. Been caught between a Spector or a stingray and for the price, this takes the cake. DEM PICKUPS THO, I just love it. Spector 4s have a very playable but chunky neck that I'm partially not so comfortable with, but on a fiver it feels fantastic. GLWTS!
I have extra taken out as a forced (and interest free) savings specifically for gear as I spend very little on myself throughout the year.
My old lady is the one who habitually incurs more bills and eats up the savings either way. Hence my forced savings. Were I to put it in the account as I had in the past, it wouldn't be savings that's for sure haha. Kinda surprised folks haven't jumped on this. It's a great way to players instrument with monstrous passive pups. Not that I'm upset, exactly...
Now on ebay for more money to cover EB fees. If you're at all interested, now would be a great time to pick this up. Once there's a bid on ebay I cannot end the listing. EB charges a 10% fee if you end it with a bid on the item.
:sad trumpets signaling another missed opportunity: As always, GLWTS! Here's hoping it goes to a loving home.
Link to the listing? If I can't have it is at least like to spread the word to some of my non-tb reading bass chums.
Great. Thank you. http://www.talkbass.com/threads/spe...duncan-ny-pickups-case.1122568/#post-16782234
Buying directly from me would be cheaper, but here's the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171608673412?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
