I recently bought this on a whim to see how I'd like it, and I must confess, I am not a 5 string kind of guy.
Hence, I am selling this to raise funds for a new NS-2!! :hyper:

It shows some wear from the previous owner. I tried to show it as much as possible in the pictures. I cleaned it up nicely and had it set up and restrung only about a month ago.
The neck pick up knob hisses a bit. Overall, sounds like a beast!

NOW $1000, preferably to Canada (Vancouver), will ship to US (+$50)
    Music Man hard case included!

    SOLD!

    :bassist:

Will trade for a Euro 4 string! (depending on colour...)

My blueburst Euro 4 isn't fretless, but you could always fix that.

I owned an identical bass that now resides in Italy, and I must say it was truly a joy to play and hear! Good luck, man!

People are so stuck on pristine condition instruments I think the horn damage might be causing the lack of interest. If I wouldn't have needed the cash from my bass sale I would have traded for sure.

I don't know about you all but I play my basses not worrying about resale value while I'm doing it.

An example: I just sold an Aguilar DB410 for $400!!!!! Just because the tolex wasn't pristine. Scary market right now for resell instruments.

    Agreed!
Maybe there's a reason it isn't selling...I may need it for something.

Those dents can easily be fixed, mostly. Boiling water and Q-Tips. Trust me, I did it to a Spector EURO identical to this a while back. There is no finish on this bass, only oil or a very thin poly coat. The boiling water swells the wood and brings it forward. If you dip the QTip in the boiling water, hold on the dents, release. Let the water dry/cool. Wipe off. It will take some time to get everything but the worse ones on the horn can swell back to semi normal. You can also sand the top, 0000 steel wool it and put some coats of oil on it. It will make the grain appear to be more 3D.

A little trick that also works for necks as well with no finishes. If you have the time of course. :D

Wet towel and a soldering iron works even faster... attempt at your own risk :)

String spacing at bridge: 0.66 from what I gather.

That's interesting. I didn't know you can do that. I'll try it out! Thanks!
