    It now has Active EMGs and a OBP3 3-Band Preamp.

    A bit of a story behind this bass.
    I was considering selling this last month and I discovered a few finish flaws on the
    bottom end of the body. The bass was sent back to Spector and Refinished.

    It is now "Like New" perfect smooth matte finish.
    Overall the bass has about 6 hours of play time on it.
    "This is the closest you will ever get to a New Spector at a used price"

    Since I went insane and will be getting the 2015 NAMM Helium NS-2, I still need more $ to
    completely fund that bass so I am now selling this and keeping a Euro4LX Poplar as my
    Spector with GZRs.

    The neck on this Forte4 Helium has the "thin neck" profile.

    I don't have a Spector HSC case left, so this will ship with a Spector Gigbag.

    You and Lee are having me seriously considering some very rash financial decisions Sam...I'd actually asked PJ ages ago about doing a bass for me in spalt maple with a matte black finish, and he declined as he thought it'd mask the wood too much.

    He was so wrong ;)

    :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Why can't things ever be easy........... If I didn't have to wait on insurance coverage and new premium rates, I would be all over this. As new as it can get and be called previously owned. I've seen brand new instruments hanging on a wall in a store that didn't look this good. And the expert of Spector basses selling, so you know it's top notch.

    Oh he was wrong with that for sure.
    You can easily see the wood under the black matte and depending on the light, it looks grey and sometimes you see the brownish hue coming through.
