Up for sale is my NS 4. This bass has an incredible buckeye burl wings mated to black walnut back. Pau ferro board with abalone inlays. The bass comes with DC pickups and Spector's incredibly powerful 18V preamp with volume/blend and stacked bass/treble. This bass is very versatile sounding because with the EMG quick connects you can swap out pickups (and therefore tone) in under 2 minutes, easily. As an added incentive I will throw in any pair of EMG 35 pickups of your choice (J/J, P/P or P/J) in addition to the standard 35DC's. This will let you try a myriad of tone compliments. My current favorite is 35 P/P. This bass is deep, throaty and powerful and can easily attain "that" Spector sound. It can do anything you need from fat, fingerstyle funk to jazz to dirty rock and roll. There's enough boost in the onboard preamp to make most amps front end beg for mercy. Neck is substantial and doesn't move an iota. The bass is in excellent condition with no major flaws of any kind. Price is $2950 shipped with a Spector HSC to the lower 48. No trades and paypal only. Please let me know if you have any questions. The attached video is from previous owner Chris Loe playing Bach's "Prelude from Suite 1". He was an absolute monster bassist and is missed dearly. Beautiful bass. Has some awesome history in that one . Makes me want to do something bad with my credit card.
Lee is an endorsed Spector artist and the price on this bass is outstanding, with the pickup options being offered this is a fantastic deal on the NS4 bass....good luck Lee!
I've seen this bass in person and it doesn't disappoint! Would love this with a 35P/DC setup, and the Spector 18v is a great pre for this setup.
