I really fell in love with this bass. I was just wandering what everyone's opinion of it is. Like? Dislikes?

If you fell in Love with it... Just get it.
I havent played one yet. I just ordered one of those for one of my customers, but Im pretty sure they are very good.

If not, I wouldnt sell them.
  3. I guess you like the bass 'cos it's a 6'er, huh...

Regardless, if you like it go for it.

But since you posted a msg asking opinions, here goes,

First off, I love Spector basses. I own an Amber Burst NS2000-5 neck-thru, with the carved, contoured body. Love it. Period.

I won't go into a flame on the "Q" series, but play a neck-thru Spector with a carved contoured body...they sound totally different that a Q. If you haven't yet, checkinto Spector basses a bit more before buying this Q6. Try either the original NS2000 seried (neckthru) or if you got the $$$ check into the Czech Spectors....mmmm delicious.

    Good luck !!!

I had an NS-2000 5 Q & I thought the bass was GREAT!!!! I used it as a backupo to my USA NS-5. I sold it because I got a STUPID GREAT DEAL on a NS-5 CR in balsk.

The NS-2000 5Q had a GREAT B string. The p/u's & electronics sounded great. IMO it sounded & played better than most basses in that price range!!!! If you played it & liked it, BUY IT!!!!!! One of the only basses I played that I liked better was an Ibanez BTB 405. If you can get your hands on a BTB 406 & A/B it to the Spector 6, you'd have a hard time to make a decision. :)
