Up for sale is a very rare Spector NS2A "Artist" bass. Only 24 of these basses were made. Unlike most NS2As, this one has the factory crown inlays and active EMG pickups. In addition, the preamp was upgraded to the Czech Hazlabs clone. Looks, sounds and plays great! The bass has some mojo, but nothing major (some minor scratches on the front and minor buckle rash on the back).

Price lowered to $950 shipped CONUS, insured. PayPal only. Includes hybrid hard/soft case and a brand new set of DR Highbeams (just installed). No trades, please. IMG_1630.JPG

  7. Hmmm, so the neck on these is pretty much the same from nut to butt...?

Yes, that's correct. Not much of a variance.

Great price on this. I have the exact one and the necks on these artists models are super fast and very comfy. GLWTS.

Import (Korean model). No serial number on these artist basses, so no way to tell the year. Late 80's/early 90's is my best guess. EMG pickups (don't know the model number).

Sexy! And with that Pre i would bet it'll buzzsaw thru any mix with ease.

  13. I just noticed the neck joint carve, where it hits the body wings, I really like it. there is no hump like on my Euro and a lot of others spectors I've seen. Must be a Kramer era carve thing, idk, not enough of a knowledge buff.

I just installed a new set of DR hi-beams and applied a lemon oil treatment to the fretboard. Unreal tone and the action is crazy low. Someone buy this bass before I decide to pull the ad and keep it!
