Over the past year, the headstock on my 95 Spector NS4CR developed cracks in the finish on the edges, all the way around the headstopck shape. Then a couple of months ago, the 'face' of the headstock started peeling up on the edges where the finish is all cracked and split. Obviously the black headstock face is piece of plastic glued and layered on the wood then sealed in the clearcoat. I continued playing it since it did not affect the sound in any way, but it sure looked ugly 'cause there was a good size gap most of the way around. Over the weekend I decided to glue it back down and reseal the cracks, but I'm wondering if any other Spectors had this happen?
